Hogan finished his Championship at the Greater Pittsburgh Standard Schnauzer Club Specialty with Winners Dog,  Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex over Specials  for a 5 pt major on March 31, 2012.




On April 1, 2012, Hogan started his Specials Career with a Select Dog win for a 4 pt major towards his Grand Championship at  the Greater Pittsburgh Standard Schnauzer Club Specialty supported show.
